For the last 6 months I have been doing all of my cardio while pounding the pavement. This morning I didn’t feel like running outside (even though the weather is awesome). So I put on some shorts and walked downstairs to the comfort of my own home to jump on the elliptical for 20 minutes. It was possibly the hardest 20 minutes of cardio that I have done is a very long time. I mean I can run for 4 and a half hours, but 20 little ol minutes of the elliptical kicked my booty!
The nice part of exercising at home is not having to be self conscience of my incredibly white body!
Do you remember that I am on a “diet” to loose the pounds that I gained during marathon training? Well all that’s going really good. But when I go to the grocery store I still like to buy stuff that I will want to eat when I get back to the weight that I want to be at, especially if certain items that I love are on sale…. like meal bars. Over the last few weeks my collection has grown out of control!!!

Back to the weight loss… I am getting really close to my pre-marathon weight. I am currently 155lbs, but am making a personal goal to be at 145 by the end of the summer. So this summer my blog is going to go from a marathon training blog to a weight loss blog. I hope you’re all okay with that
